"The fabulous and authentic total renovation of The Old Goods Shed at Waitahuna Station offers a unique culinary experience thanks to a decent range of very tasty and indulgent food and for the comfortable relaxed and roomy dining ambience. But the best part for my money is that it’s a totally unique contemporary dining venue which just happens to have crash-landed within a vintage industrial rail freight terminal! In quieter moments inside you cannot help but be very impressed by the effort and commitment that a first rate renovation on this scale really takes. But the hard work has all been done and it has certainly been worth the wait. So I highly recommend making the pilgrimage to see what all the fuss is about!!"

"A great place to grab coffee and something to eat when cycling. There is always a great selection of food and my recent experience of the cheese cake was it melted in my mouth - it was outstanding. The restoration and preservation of the railway heritage and history was an unexpected bonus"

"Cycled through on the Clutha trail yesterday. Spotted a sign for refreshments and glad we stopped. Iced lattes hit the spot, as did the homemade lemon cheesecake . Set us up nicely for the pedal to Milton."

"Absolutely outstanding food, service and setting. An amazing story of restoration of these old railway buildings into a stylish and welcoming cafe with beautiful rural views and museum. Loved the poke bowls, brisket bao buns, popcorn prawns, Reuben sandwich and fries - so yummy. Love the menu. Great coffee too and super friendly service."
